The NobelGuide surgical template is a unique concept: A predictable implant placement utilizing a computergenerated stent in conjunction with NobelGuide software. The system is quite simple and relatively painless. The restoration produced can be a processed provisional or final prosthesis, and can be used for any size case from a multiple-unit bridge to a single-unit crown.	Simply put, a specific design stent is manufactured and a CT scan is taken. The data from that scan is input into the NobelGuide Software. The placement of the implants is determined inside the 3D computer software. Obstacles such as nerves and weak or thin bone are addressed. A mockup of the final prosthesis is incorporated into the software as a guide. Once the placement has been approved the surgical stent is produced via CAM technology at NobelBiocare. The stent is then delivered to the lab where implant replicas are placed and a soft tissue model is made. From the model, a processed provisional or even the final prosthesis may be made.	The surgical treatment is based on guided keyhole surgery that is minimally invasive. The patient will suffer less pain and swelling. This system is so accurate that the prosthetic appliance can be placed immediately after the surgery is performed. This system is a natural evolution for Marotta Dental Studio. We have been producing immediate-load provisionals for over twenty years. Incorporating this technology has been simple for us. We have the NobelGuide software on the premises, as well as an operatory for performing the procedure. We have merged our systems and techniques to make this system that much more predictable and successful for the dentist and patient.
